Water, Water Everywhere!

Well folks.  it's been a heck of a week here at Whitford Insurance Network.  Due to all the heavy rain we received last weekend there have been several claims due to water.  The good news is that most of our insureds have purchased the "back up of sewers and drains coverage"  endorsement. (So they won't have a problem getting their houses back to normal)! This endorsement to the homeowners policy, provides coverage to damage done by water that comes in to the home from a failed sump pump or a clogged sewer/drain.  It's particularly important to have this coverage if your basement or lower level is finished.  The protection is relatively inexpensive. It pays for clean up and damages to your property.  Please call us if you would like to add this coverage. Most importantly, if you have a friend or neighbor who didn't receive coverage because they didn't have this endorsement, please let them know we can help.
