Joe began his insurance career in 1982 at INA as an underwriter. He subsequently worked at National Grange Mutual, Crum and Forster Personal Insurance and HPB Inc. rotating through all sectors in the property, casualty, life, health and business insurance arena.
In 1990, Joe founded the independent agency of Insurance Advisory Network, Inc. His business grew from zero clients to well over 800 in less than 4 years.
In 1994 Joe’s agency merged with Whitford Insurance Inc. becoming Whitford Insurance Network, Inc.
Joe is married to his high school sweetheart Karen. They have 4 children and currently live in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Bob began his insurance career in 1980 at General Accident insurance company in Philadelphia as a third party claims adjuster. In 1981 he moved to INA insurance company as an underwriter.
In 1983, he joined The F.J. Ward agency in Coatesville as an independent agent. In 1986, he purchased the agency with his brother Frank, and in 1990, he formed his own agency, RA Ward Agency. In 1993, Bob merged his agency with the Whitford Insurance Network, Inc. in Exton, PA.
Bob earned his CIC designation in 1985, his CPIA designation in 1989, and his CWCA designation in 2009.
Bob has also been active in insurance education, and in 1995 was accepted onto the National Alliance CIC Faculty. Bob has taught commercial insurance seminars in over 25 states to date.
Bob currently lives in West Brandywine with his wife Diane. He has two sons, Brian and Kevin.

Brian has worked in the insurance industry since he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College in 2010. He worked as an Auto Physical Damage Claims Adjuster for Travelers Insurance for 1.5 years, then moved to a Claims Operations Analyst position with Travelers for another 1.5 years.
Brian joined Whitford in January of 2014 where he worked as a Personal and Commercial lines account manager for 2 years. Currently, Brian is in an outside sales role, specializing in both Personal and Commercial lines of business.

Alethea joined the Whitford family in January 2022. She started her insurance career as a Business Development Specialist in the Sales and Marketing department of Venture Insurance Programs in 2011. Alethea earned her Property and Casualty license later that year and eventually moved into the role of Compliance Technician. We are excited to have her on the team as our newest Personal Lines Account Manager.
Alethea currently lives in Malvern, PA with her husband and three children.

Traci is your Personal Account Manager if your last name starts with N through Z.
She came to Whitford with an extensive background working in the school system as an aide for special needs students. This experience has given her a unique level of empathy which is evident when helping clients with their insurance issues. She is now a licensed Insurance Professional and is working toward her Certified Insurance Service Representative certification.
Traci is the mother of one son of whom she is very proud. She has two, four-legged babies that give her much joy. Traci enjoys interacting with her co-workers and clients. Her goals are to represent Whitford Insurance Network by providing excellent customer care, as she strives to seek out the best insurance coverages, at the most competitive rates.

Caitlyn joined the Whitford family in August 2017. While earning her degree from Penn State University, Caitlyn worked in Personal Lines for United States Liability Insurance for three years before exploring the world of Healthcare Sales. Upon returning to Personal Lines insurance, Caitlyn took the role as Personal Lines Account Manager.
Caitlyn currently lives in Coatesville, PA with her husband and three young kids.

Diane has worked with numbers since graduating from Millersville University in 1982. First as an account manager with AMP Inc.; then as a credit analyst with Chase Aircraft Finance Co.
Diane joined her husband, Bob, at the F.J. Ward Agency in Coatesville in 1986 handling accounts receivable/payable duties on a part-time basis. She continued handling the bookkeeping/accounting duties at the R.A. Ward Agency in 1990 and then at Whitford Insurance Network, Inc. in 1993.
Diane currently lives in West Brandywine with her husband, Bob.

Theresa is an experienced Administrative Assistant and has worked in the insurance industry for over 10 years. She joined Whitford in 2018 after previously working at Willis Towers Watson. Outside of the office Theresa enjoys hiking and spending time with her grandkids.
